@MakingPennies this was verizon fwiw and also why I was asking HOW do I do it, vs. do it for me right now. If they'd called my bluff I may have backed down but... honestly since i knew Optimium (whom I LOATH) had a better offer I was willing to switch for a few months to get intro pricing again

@VerizonSupport help - after 2 swapped out Fios One boxes and the same error and no TV since Friday I need a tech to come out.3+ hours on the phone w techs. Need help.

@Verizon is really out here getting every cent they can out of a customer. I added a new line with a new # and the # is registered with the old customers iphone so it's unusable. @Verizon is trying to charge me $20 for a number change.

@TMobile it just amazes me that a company would screw with a 15 plus year customer. I can’t wait to go to Verizon!!! When you are told you get phones on T-Mobile and they mess it up and say we can’t do that now!!!!
@RJHINDM Depends where you’re at. I have Verizon & have perfect reception inside our school. Ppl with USCell cant get a text out. Omaha coverage used to be horrible. Verizon has no prob there. Prob areas w/ USCell were solved by switching. Not sure how things have changed over last 10 yrs

There is literally no reason for me to have a phone since @Verizon sucks and I NEVER have service in my own house not to mention IMPORTANT calls get dropped constantly

If you only have issues with one specific Wi-Fi network, then the issue is with that Wi-Fi access point, not your device. When all else fails, try unplugging the router and modem for about 60 seconds, to reset them, then plug them back in. This will reset them with the ISP and may fix the problem.

If you have TV service with Verizon, be sure the coax is screwed in. Make sure that any devices connected to the router (like TVs, computers, gaming systems, etc.) are plugged into the yellow LAN ports. Check that the router's WAN light is on.
Suddenly losing cell service in places where you used to have a reliable connection can be the result of a network outage or new construction blocking your cell tower. Congestion and a connection stuck to a distant cell tower can also cause random service issues.
Rebooting (turning off and then back on) your router solves most Wi-Fi issues. Upon rebooting newer model routers generally select the least crowded frequencies. If you have a dual-band router like the Fios Quantum Gateway, try enabling both 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
