Beautiful Jolene is a 1+ year old,  50 lbs pure bred Doberman. This skinny, bony, formerly neglected girl has responded amazingly well to good food, a warm bed, love and human attention. She is good with cats, dogs and adores kind people. GREAT WITH CATS!At some point in her short life, she has had puppies and whoever early in her puppy days, had her cropped her ears with dull scissors. She has not let this affect her sweetness and good nature. What is left of her ears perk up when you come into her space. Though somewhat timid at first, her confidence and demeanor have changed dramatically the past few weeks since coming out of the small rural shelter.  Her confidence has grown nicely.  She still has puppy in her as she will steal your glove or hat and on occasion she will counter surf in search of more food. She will happily stay in a crate if you need to leave her. Meet Captain! Captain is a 7 year old purebred Doberman looking for his perfect fit. He LOVES food and will do anything for a treat. He is crate trained and prefers to sleep in his safe space of the crate. He has been professionally e-collar trained and knows many commands such as heel, come, sit, down and place once trained to his new “place”. He loves to go for car rides and chase away any deer or squirrels from the area! A fenced in yard is a must!Captain is high energy who acts much younger than his age. He is good with kids but because of his large size, high energy and occasional lack of spatial awareness, older kids would be best. He is not good with cats or small dogs. Larger dogs he can be aggressive with at first, but with proper introductions, he can get along with other large breed dogs. Captain will do best in a home that can give him lots of attention and exercise. He also needs an experienced large breed owner that can be his alpha. My name is Lacey and I am just a pretty young, 2 year old, 50 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback mix girl that lived the first years of my life on a chain outside in a man’s backyard.  She has  had a few litters of pups and PREFERS to be the only q         queen of the house.  Being chained, many dogs have a defensive attitude of being jumped on and often prefer to be the only pet in the home.  She is very sweet and loving and adores meeting new people and making friends.   She loves men especially and is gentle with children. She is so very calm and easy going around the house.  She is not a fan of the crate because it is new to her.   She was never crated until now.  She doesn’t seem to be destructive at all in the house.   She loves sleeping on the bed at night and will sleep right next to you.  She has been in HEAVEN because she has never had the inside comforts of a home. Hello everyone!   My name is Roscoe P. Coltrane and I am a truly special 11 years old senior guy that weighs about 16 pounds and they say I am a Min Pin mix.  I have had an interesting life but I won’t bore you with all the bounces that have led to me being profiled here on the rescue websites.  I just need a final and forever home that will be OK with my occasional leaks which are totally taken care of with a male belly band wrap.  But if you are home all the time and want to take me out every 2-3 hours then I am fine…..I just cannot hold it long. When you leave the house just crate me.   I am fine with that.  I am living in an medium to active home right now and I am doing great with all the people who come and go.  I really get excited when my people come home and they know that I love them.  But they are only foster people and they have promised me a forever place someday soon.  I will say I would prefer no small and young children in the house all the time.   They are just too nerve wracking for me.  I don’t ask for much really and there are no demands from me except to love me and speak kindly.  I really am a rare FIND and you will be very happy having me as your sidekick.
