On March 8, my wife and I drove to Benuel's farm with the intent of bringing a puppy home IF the conditions under which puppies were raised was as described online. Answer, yes. Pups and mom were playing in the yard. Mom greeted us as we got out of the car. Three children, likely seven and under were also there. Ben was polite and welcoming.We met two male pups on the ground level of the home. They were in a large containment area bordered by 8 or 10 inch high boards. The area was clean and had no lingering odder of waste or feces. Two male pups played in the pen. We chose the more dominate of the two and named him Gunnery Sergeant (Gunny). Gunny is a sweet, loving, sometimes obstinate, mostly obedient and always playful pup. In no time, we will have to promote Gunny to Master Gunnery Sergeant.Crate training was very easy and it took nearly seven weeks before Gunny was consistently pawing at the bells hanging on the door to signal his need to go outside.We highly recommend Benuel Smucker raised goldendoodles.

My wife and I went to Benuel's farm with the intent of bringing a puppy home IF we felt comfortable with the breeder and the conditions under which the pups were raised. Benuel was very kind and welcoming and the pups and mom were playing in the yard when we arrived. Three children, about eight and under, were nearby. It seemed a happy place for all.In the lower level of the home is a large pen bordered by 10- or 12-inch boards that was clean and without the lingering odor feces. Newborn pups and mom were likely housed here. This is where we met our pup, then called Gary with his sibling, Gus. It was a tough choice, but we chose Gary, who we renamed Gunnery Sergeant (Gunny). Gunny is a sweet pup who shows his love for us. He has his moments but he is mostly obedient and always playful. Crate training was a snap and potty training took about six weeks before Gunny would consistently use a bell on the door to signal his need to go outside.We are totally happy with our pup and highly recommend Benuel Smucker raised pups. Ben expects a doodle litter in June. If you reserve a pup from that litter, you will not be disappointed.

I picked up my puppy from Ben and his family a few weeks ago. I had a great experience all around. Ben and his family were very honest and caring toward myself and my new puppy. I would recommend this breeder to everyone. My Ramona is a sweet puppy with great character. We love her and thank the Smucker family for the great experience.

We picked up our cute little pup from the Smuckers in July 2022. We had a great experience and she is doing so well! The Vet, our trainer, and everyone else has consistently commented on how great she is - and she makes other people want a dog because she’s so good! She is very smart - easy to train - wonderful temperament. Really couldn’t imagine a better puppy. And the Smuckers made our experience great - very friendly, very helpful - let us meet the parents, see where she was staying, no pressure to make a sale. We brought her home and Ben called after a few days to check and make sure she was adjusting well. They truly care about their puppies future well being, which says a lot about them. Next time we get a pup, we will wait until we can get one from the Smuckers! Thank you!!!

We adopted Penny now Nala on June 28th. She is absolutely perfect! She gets along great with our other dogs (lab and min pin) and our 6 year old son. Ben is great, his first priority is the well being of his dogs. He called several times to ensure Nala was adapting well. Grateful we found Nala and Ben!

Top notch experience. Klaus is a healthy, happy and wonderful puppy who fits in with our family perfectly. Ben was extremely helpful througout the entire process, and returned all calls promptly including AFTER we brought Klaus home. We recently bought an adorable mini Goldendoodle from Ben and Mary. The whole family was very nice and friendly. The overall experience was great. Ben was responsive to any questions we had. We had the opportunity to visit the puppies in their home and interact with the puppy prior to bringing her home. The puppies were well cared for and seemed to be in excellent health. We met Parker at Mr. Smucker's family farm in April of 2019. Parker and his sisters were clean, happy and free to roam. At 20 months old, Parker is an active, healthy and intelligent puppy. As seen in the pic, his favorite thing in the whole world is to get out on the lake and fish. If you are looking for a fishing buddy, I would highly recommend a puppy who got its start on Mr. Smucker's farm.
